St Mary’s school, Finchley, Parents Association

Registered Charity No. 272592

The Parent Teacher Association (PTA), is an organisation of parents and staff. Its role is to encourage closer links between home and school. The PTA organise a number of fundraising events to provide an opportunity for parents, staff and pupils to get together. The funds raised go back into the school to purchase much needed additional resources.

The PTA holds a number of meetings through the school year to discuss how the funds are spent and which projects / equipment should be funded.

There are also other fun events throughout the year such as the Summer Fair, Christmas Fair, Quiz night and special events such as a Bollywood night and Film night. An AGM is held once a year and is open for all parents to attend

If you would like to get involved with the PTA or become a Trustee, please contact Rachel Baker, PTA Secretary at

Prayer Group

Who is the meeting for?

Everyone is welcome.

We are a prayer group that is open to anyone linked to St Mary’s School (e.g. parents, carers, staff, governors etc). We meet to pray together for the children, the school and for those involved in the life of the school.

There is no obligation to stay for the whole meeting – you can come and go as you need to – we’d love you to come for whatever you can make. You won’t be asked to pray or read out loud and you’re welcome to simply listen in to the Bible thought and prayers if you prefer.

If you cannot make it in person, we may be able to connect you to the meeting via Zoom. If you have a child who is below nursery age who you are caring for, you can bring them along with you.

If you’d like more information, please feel free to contact Dominic at:
