Holy Trinity & St Mary’s Science Afternoon

We were lucky to have some special visitors from Hoy Trinity to celebrate an afternoon of Science on Tuesday 7th May! Year 1 children from Holy Trinity and St Mary’s became investigators and explorers and took part in different science investigations including looking at static electricity, making paper cup telephones and paper Airplanes and testing if they could make dull coins shiny and even build a sturdy bridge!

The explorers were busy using magnifying glasses, testing out magnets, making their own bubbles and so much more! We were so impressed with how well both schools worked together and look forward to having more science afternoons together!
